I love this fried chicken. I don't follow this recipe exactly, though. The calorie amount is also way off. Without the parmesan cheese, each chicken piece is about 220 calories. If you were to use a quarter cup of Parmesan on every little chicken piece, the calories are 325 per piece. If you use a reasonable amount of Parmesan, such as 3 tbsp for the entire recipe, as I did, the calories are about 238 per piece. A whole cup of Parmesan cheese for four 3-oz pieces of chicken? That is far too much! I used already made pork rind crumbs, as suggested by one of the comments, and there's no way that you would need 3 1/2 cups of that either! And, these things make the calories way too high.

This tastes better than fried chicken! I didn’t add the Parmesan and used Original Pork Rind Crumbs from Pork Kong Good brand (bought on Amazon). DELICIOUS! entire family approved and wants me to make it again soon!

One piece is over 400 calories? Something is not write. I love this app but I also hate it for the one reason that recipes just don't seem to correlate with late with the calories or carbs ect....

A Hit! It took almost the whole egg. I doubled the cayenne. It turned out perfect and delicious.

Instead of oven baked I pan fried it and it came out just as crispy as oven baked! I love this recipe because it tastes almost like the Panko bread crumb chicken we used to make only without the carbs!

On reflection I think I should have ground down the rind much finer so I didn’t use so much. My fam found it too fatty and salty and we had to add sour cream to tone down. Will try again!

Can I use mayo to coat the chicken breast instead of egg? I need more fat without the protein.

Cook the breasts in the air fryer for 5-7 minutes at 400 degrees, then flip the breasts over and cook for an additional 5-7 minutes.

This is fantastic. I pan fried it in ghee to make more of a schnitzel. Thoroughly enjoyed even by my 5 yo and 2 yo.

Good flavor but only top crisped up. When I turned the chicken the bottom side did not crisp up. Still very good though!

Paired this with a keto mason jar layered cheese salad minus the egg. Was so good. Will definitely make it again.
