Are ground almonds different from almond flour?

Some almond flours may be slightly finer than ground almonds but they are pretty much the same thing

I thought is the same, some recipes indicate almond flour. Asking myself the same question as well

The taste is good but they are a little dry. I would add at least 1/2 tbsp more of butter.
